Connie’s passion is working with struggling readers using the most up-to-date, scientifically researched reading methods. She has a Masters in Education, and 25 years experience as a certified reading specialist, special education teacher, and language arts instructor, grades 2 – adult. Connie holds certifications as a “Certified Dyslexia Therapist” and a “Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist”.
She has also worked for Wilson Language Training as a National Trainer/Consultant. As a National Trainer, she has conducted workshops and year-long practicum trainings delivered to teachers and administrators throughout the United States and Canada.
When not teaching, Connie loves hiking and kayaking in Montana, as well as spending time with her family. Professionally, there is nothing more satisfying to her than helping students gain the confidence and skills they need to achieve success in school and life!
