Jeanie Gayeski has been working with students in the field of education for over 20 years. She received her Masters in elementary education from Hunter College and remembers when in sixth grade she told everyone she wanted to be a mathematician. Though the roads didn’t quite lead there, she is thrilled to be working for New Paltz Multisensory, and bringing all that she knows to her work with students in mathematics. She draws on her years, teaching dance and movement, art and conflict resolution. She prides herself on creating a safe and playful atmosphere where learning can occur, trust can be built and skills mastered.
