This set of 24, syllable counting clip cards makes the perfect, low-prep beginning-of-year phonological awareness activity for your students. All images depict real photographs of objects with either 1, 2, or 3 syllables. An image key is also included for your reference. Simply print, and laminate (if you wish), and your students will be ready to engage in this hands-on resource and get critical foundational skills practice in counting the number of syllables heard in words. As an added BONUS – we have also included the set of 24 images as photo cards and 4 corresponding game boards for additional practice opportunities.
